Description

Process Engineer

Our client manufactures brass hardware and accessories and is looking for a Process Engineer to join our expanding manufacturing and production teams, paying up to £40K.

Process Engineer: Description:

  • Driving process improvements and ensuring the seamless integration of new equipment, procedures and workflows into our operations.

Process Engineer: Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of tasks and projects across manufacturing and production departments.
  • Utilise process engineering knowledge to improve safety, quality, and cost-efficiency in workflows.
  • Support the introduction and optimisation of new processes, ensuring smooth implementation and long-term success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality output and enhance equipment capability.
  • Be fully responsible for the daily management of personal workload, deliverables, and continuous improvement activities.

Process Engineer: Mandatory Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of using quality control tools including PFMEA, control pans, and process audits.
  • Knowledge of manual and semi-automated assembly processes.
  • Explaining technical detail to operatives.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data.
  • Working with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.

Pocess Engineer: Hours:

  • 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
